Default Lorian's solo echo nuker

Im exposing my build for my echo nuker, designed to farm with, solo. I have had great success so far with this build, farming shiverpeak grawl, dune drakes, minotars, and griffons. I don't bring in the 2-5k that W/Mo are claiming to farm (of course I can't do that with my W/Mo either!), but this is a nice consistant way to farm, at least for me. My primary character is a elementalist that I bounce between necro and mesmer secondary.
I know this build works, however this game is so well balanced that there are hundreds of equally effective builds to try and discover. Feel free to comment or show a build that you have had success with. Please do not write theoretical builds on this thread. This build is tried and tested, if you are not of the level/experience to have most items, runes, and spells at your disposal, your time will come, however, this is not the thread to hypothesize your future build. Thanks and as always have fun, don't buy it, grind it .

Fire 16: 12 + 3 rune +1 hat
Energy Storage 13: 12 + 1 rune
Earth 5: 4 + 1

My skill bar goes as such, in this order:

Fire Attunement
Aura of Restoration
Arcane Echo
Pheonix
Meteor Strike
Mark of Rodgart
Glyph of Energy [elite]
Armor of Earth

I will prep the power suite with FA and AoR then use arcane echo. I will draw the creature(s) to me with the wand then use the first MS. I quickly throw up AoE for protection and sometimes throw out a flame burst for health and xtra damage, then use GoE and MS. Once my Glyph refills I use it and follow up with a mark of Rodgart to the enemy with the most energy. I then use pheonix to spam damage. If used correctly you have survivability with an AL exceeding 90, 300% health returns on you spell cost, 30% returns on energy expenditure, and plenty of knock-down damage dealing meyhem at your disposal.
Feel free to try the build out and tell me how you like it. I also farm for Ele equipment, if you have any needs for reasonable prices pm me, my ign is Lorian Maelstrom. I am a huge fan of the collector perfect items and sell most of the golds and greens that I farm. I have been having better luck with the dune drakes outside of Elona's Reach farming the whole region, except the bosses. If anyone has any advice on killing bosses solo, enlighten me.......Im having no luck at all. Also, if anyone has another place that seems to work for solo elementalist farming let me know. Thanks and as always, have fun killing stuff.

Sounds very good, I always had this hypothesis that with a E/Mo 55hp build you can use SoJ, Meteor Shower, Fireball for a knockdown which in theory should work decently.

Ive been reading through the post here of various classes and everyone refers to the griffons as great drops, however, I have had no luck with them. I have received nothing but mundane items, some money, and collector parts from them. The most lucrative monsters I have found with my solo ele that I can handle are sand drakes, they tend to drop well.

Wink New take on pve echo spiker (air)

Im finding that many people in pug are becoming reluctant at taking nukers....I know, as well as anyone, played well are as effective as ever, but, none the less people are asking for Air builds. So, I have started to oblige. What Im working on now is Air primary build, using left over points for AoE (earth). First I am starting with arcane echo for use with Lightning orb and L. strike. Im trying to stay away from exhaustion so that I can use elemental attunement for management. If anyone has any experience with effective air SF, FOW, or UW builds please list.

Good points.

I tried soloing with my echo nuke FOW build and was able to take on griffons as well. Bad drops though....I'll try some sand drakes next. Thanks for the tip.
